Flair bartending - the term inspires so many things. Speed, juggling, balancing, choreography, and even FIRE! As awesome as flair bartending is, it's important to remember the basics. Flair bartending is about entertaining your guests, whether it's a large party, an 8-year-old kid who becomes mesmerized anytime things are thrown into the air, or Kary Byron from Mythbusters chilling at your bar judging your martini’s (shameless shout out...sup Kary). It's common for a first shot at flair to be an attack of tins, glass, and liquor. You're not going to be a world class flair bartender like the likes of Christian Delpech or Erin Connelly at first, but give it a shot - toss a tin, spin a bottle - hell, break something! It's inevitable - you're going to drop stuff and things will get broken. Mastering the art of “oops that one got away from me” is one of the most challenging obstacles of flair. Don’t sweat the crowd, yourself, or the guy going “nice move Tom Cruise.” Because behind the wood, it's about having fun...
